Human Resource Analyst. $4,440 - $5,396/month plus full benefits.
Position Overview: The Human Resources team is looking for a “can do” generalist qualified to be primary lead on the following program areas: employee & labor relations, performance development (training) and diversity. As a member of a reorganized six member full service department servicing 430 plus employees, you can expect other program assignments that may include classification and compensation administration, benefits consultation, recruitment and selection, and general human resources administration.
Summary of Essential Duties: Actively assists in the development and implementation of goals and objectives, policies, practices and priorities of the Human Resources Department. Conducts surveys and performs research and statistical analyses as requested; evaluates operations and activities of employee relations and labor relations programs, recommends improvements and modifications, prepares various necessary reports; assists in administering labor contracts and other agreements with outside vendors, contractors and labor unions; assists in the resolution of grievances; responds to EEOC and other labor related issues. Responds to requests for information from employees, management, outside agencies and the public. Provides consultation to employees and management to increase cultural competency and workforce diversity, and coordinates and organizes performance development activities including needs assessment, evaluation and curriculum development.

| Requirements |
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration or related field; and three years of increasingly responsible analytical and program management experience in Human Resources, OR an equivalent combination of experience and training, demonstrating the required knowledge and skills for the position. Public sector experience that includes working with bargaining units is desired, as is experience compiling Equal Employment Opportunity plans and responding to EEOC and BOLI complaints. NPELRA, IPMS-HR, PHR or SPHR certifications desirable as are skills in use of Microsoft Office and HRIS applications such as PeopleSoft. |
