Transit is currently recruiting for the fulltime position of Senior Labor Relations Analyst in the
Human Resources division. The Analyst will lead
and perform complex professional-level analytical functions and coordination
for human resources programs and projects, with expertise in labor relations
and one or more HR functions, including recruitment, compensation
administration, health and welfare programs, drug and alcohol programs, and
workers’ compensation. The agency has two interest-arbitration eligible
labor groups (ATU and IAM), and is supported by a total workforce of
approximately 325 employees. Excellent benefits include health insurance, PERS
and deferred comp retirement plans, and paid sick and vacation leave. Wage
range is $70,819-95,606 annually.
- Lead the labor relations program and implement labor
strategies that advance the priorities of the agency and support a sustainable
labor relations program; administer and interpret collective bargaining
- Cultivate collaborative and productive relationships with
stakeholders and utilize effective interpersonal and formal presentations
skills to build trust, influence outcomes, and ensure successful implementation
of labor relations strategies.
- Serve as agency’s Drug and Alcohol Program Manager,
ensuring compliance with federal mandated FTA regulations, including policy and
workers’ compensation program; monitor employee claims and resolve complex
claims administration of employee events and accidents.
