The UAA Human Resource Services Department provides the UAA campus
and its extended sites with a full range of consulting services in the areas of
recruiting/staffing, compensation, HR information systems, employee training,
organizational development, payroll, employee relations and employee benefits
administration in support of its strategic goals and objectives. Below is
an abbreviated description of the duties and requirements for this position.
The University of Alaska Anchorage, Human Resource Services is
seeking a Senior Human Resource Services Consultant who will also serve as the
UAA benefits team supervisor responsible for the oversight of campus level
administration of the UA Statewide Employee Benefits program. This position
will also provide the full range of HR services to an assigned client group
which will include executive, faculty, staff, and union represented employees. The
Sr. HR Consultant provides client services such as, recruitment, compensation,
employee relations, organizational development, and mediation, and also

bi-weekly salary is $2,235.20, depending on experience, plus full employee benefits
package including health, retirement, employee and dependent tuition waiver,

This is a senior human resource professional
position requires a degree in human resources or similar area, or equivalent
combination of related vocational, on-the-job experience, and/or academic
training. Also requires effective supervisory experience and in-depth knowledge
of FMLA. Prefer PHR or SPHR certification.
