The HR Manager will provide oversight and direction to a dedicated HR team who is committed to adding value and making a difference for the organization.  The HR Manager will be a significant partner with the CHRO in the development and implementation of policies, programs and strategic initiatives; and work closely with all levels of management to foster HR business partner relationships.

Highlights of the key HR Manager responsibilities:

  • Support and provide oversight to assigned HR team members: guide and coach on issues including, but not limited to, recruitment and on-boarding, performance management, employee engagement, training and development, complaint investigation and resolution, progressive disciplinary action, regulatory reporting and compliance.

  • Direct the organization’s recruitment and on-boarding process.  May manage full lifecycle recruitment for specified departments and specific positions.  Stay abreast of new recruitment medians/opportunities and implement as appropriate.  Assure recruiting practices are compliant with regulatory rules and guidelines and lead the annual affirmative action outreach initiatives and reporting process.        

  • Foster an environment that engages all employees, respects diversity and is compliant with all applicable labor laws.  

  • Maintains high visibility presence in organization locations. Provide coaching, focusing on performance management, staff and leadership development.

  • Handle complex employee relations issues and counsel and guide management and HR team members ensuring accurate interpretation of policy and handling of employment issues. 

  • Coordinate HR related regulatory compliance reporting. 

  • Lead or participate in the implementation of training programs targeted for all employees on relevant professional development and industry related topics and best practices.





  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.

  • HR management experience or 5 years of HR Generalist experience demonstrating progressively increasing responsibility and lead responsibility.

  • Demonstrated skills in areas of project management.      

  • Proactive and solutions-orientated. Committed to process improvement and customer service excellence.   

  • Strong people management/coaching skills. Ability to listen, influence and motivate staff. 

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience in HR systems and ATS.   Strong MS office skills including Excel and Powerpoint.
