This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who possess skills to provide strategic, consultative, generalist Human Resources support to business units, service lines and all divisions of the organization as a Human Resources Consultant (HRC).
Acting as a strategic business partner and primary point of contact for all employees and managers, the HRC provides the full range of HR generalist services that help to maximize employee capabilities and engagement.
The key functions of this role include: business consulting, change management, employee relations, coaching, talent and performance management, staff and organizational development, and acting as an objective advisor for coaching managers and resolving employees’ issues.

Effectively manages the relationship between the HR division and the assigned client group(s) ensuring timely responses to employee and managers’ needs and in a manner that provides added value and generates satisfaction and employee engagement.
Maintains positive interpersonal relationships with all managers and employees at all levels of the BHS through accessibility, visibility and responsiveness.
As a trusted, objective advisor, the HRC facilitates effective, open two-way communication designed to get the facts out in the open and helps to ensure timely resolution of workplace issues.
Supports the business leaders in interpreting their business goals to HR initiatives and contributes to the development of Human Resources strategies that are linked to the business units or entity’s objectives.
Maintains a strong working relationship with the HR specialists, sharing information openly and enlists the specialists as subject matter experts as needed to address unique needs for their client groups while maintaining their role as the primary contact person for that client.
Transfers HR competencies to managers and supports managers in their role as advocates for their employees, instilling that HR management is a shared accountability.
Takes individual responsibility to keep apprised of new laws, HR issues, methodologies and philosophies and their application to BHS.
Facilitates a system wide approach to HR service delivery.
