Another Source’s client, Northland Communications, is recruiting a Human Resource Assistant to join their team at their downtown Seattle location.

Here’s a little about Northland Communications and the position they are recruiting for:

Northland Communications Corporation - a growing, nationally-ranked telecommunications management company specializing in providing a variety of quality communications services to small cities and towns - is seeking a motivated, professional HR Assistant.

The ideal candidate is team oriented, very organized and communicates well.  This role works in a small three-person HR team and is responsible for:

  • Personnel file management.
  • Coordinating employee paperwork relating to new hires, status changes, terminations, benefits, and other areas of Human Resources.
  • Coordinating system recruitment, including job postings, pre-screening and phone interviews.
  • Organizing and assisting managers with administration of technical training program.
  • Assisting employees with employment related issues and communicating HR related policies and procedures. 

This position also supports the corporate office and assists the administrative department covering reception.

 

Requirements

Who you are...

  • Experienced & Educated.  Minimum 1 year HR required, ADP experience preferred.  Associate’s Degree or equivalent, business or HR focus preferred.
  • Communicator.  Builds rapport easily to establish relationships and set yourself up as the go-to person.  Easily speak with all levels in the organization and outside of it.
  • Organized.  Takes deadlines seriously and can prioritize work to meet them.  Time management is your forte.  Diligent follow-up to stay on top of operations is how you thrive.
  • Flexible.  Quickly adaptable in a dynamic environment, shifting gears doesn’t hold you back.
  • Discreet.  Confidentially and discretion are part of your disposition.  HR’s business stays in HR.
  • Detailed.  Takes the meaning of detail-oriented to a whole new level.  Triple checking is part of your nature.  You also see the big picture and recognize where the details are  important for a comprehensive understanding.
