Founded in 1969, AHBL’s more than 100-person multi-disciplinary staff
works on projects of local and regional significance from our four Washington
state offices. Our team includes civil engineers, structural engineers,
landscape architects, planners, and surveyors. These technical professionals
collaborate with our marketers, accountants, HR, and administrative staff to
deliver successful projects for our clients.
We are seeking a Human Resources Manager in a department of one to join
us in our headquarters in Tacoma, WA to oversee the provision of HR services,
policies, and programs for AHBL. This position includes opportunities to:
- · Provide strategic and operational HR support and
direction to all four AHBL offices, with a strong focus on implementation of
our strategic plan initiatives.
- · Administer the employee benefits and leave
programs at AHBL such as medical, dental, vision, life and disability, sick
leave, employee assistance programs, FMLA, etc.
- · Manage federal contractor compliance programs
and reporting, including Affirmative Action Plans and EEO-1/VETS-4212
- · Cultivate a culture of collaboration and respect
through employee relations support and performance management process
- · Drive professional staff development through
delivery and coordination of training programs for managers and employees.
- · Help grow AHBL’s presence in local markets
through recruiting and onboarding of professional, technical, and
administrative staff, as well as delivery of programs that will help AHBL
attract and retain top talent.
