Full-time, permanent administrative professional. Acts as investigator of violations of university policies against discrimination and sexual harassment. Conducts research and fact findings, and writes investigative reports. Assists the Director in policy development and research for special projects. Assists with departmental training offerings. |

Position Specific Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of related experience with human rights/human relations and/or training or teaching of adults. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, co-workers, and constituents, write detailed reports, review and process detailed documents, handle confidential personnel issues, and make presentations. Experience working with diverse groups. Demonstrated writing ability commensurate with the needs of the position, including interviewing, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills. Demonstrated experience working with diverse groups.
Preferred Qualifications
Law degree or Master's degree in a relevant field (human resources, management, education, etc.) and experience conducting administrative or legal investigations. Background in investigations. Experience working in higher education. General working knowledge of EEO laws. Fluency in second language. Familiarity with diversity initiatives in higher education or other work environments. Working knowledge of WSU administrative environment. Supervisory experience. |
