Description

This position is responsible for recruiting/staffing support to all sales divisions of the Company through development and implementation of sales recruitment programs to meet the hiring and retention needs of the organization.

Essential Functions:

v     Sources, screens, and interviews candidates for sales positions and coordinates the interview process of sales candidates with sales management personnel for current job openings.

v     Consults with hiring managers on presented candidates to determine whether or not to continue the interview process and to identify candidates to extend job offers to.

v     Recommends, develops and implements with management approval methods and programs designed to provide an incentive sales environment and retention of employees.

v     Places cold telephone calls to achieve recruiting goals and to identify potential sales candidates for employment.

v     Conducts Internet sourcing, social networking, and posting of jobs on various job boards and sites.

v     Works to establish partnerships with local and national recruiting sources, professional and trade organizations, and educational institutions for sourcing of and relationship building with sales candidates.

v     Conducts required background screening including reference checking of candidates.

v     Provides weekly report to upper management projecting hiring forecast and pipeline of sales candidates for anticipated hiring needs.

v     Works closely with Human Resources to coordinate new hire orientation and start date of employment for accepted offers of employment by candidates.

v     Performs other recruiting and staffing duties as assigned by Vice President of Sales.

              

Physical and Environmental Demands:

v     Job is performed in a well-lighted, climate controlled modern office setting.

v     Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.

v     Prolonged sitting.

v     Prolonged work on a computer/PC.

v     Extensive telephone use.

v     Moderate to high level of stress.

v     Occasional travel.

 

 

Requirements

Job Qualifications:

v     Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent professional experience preferred.

v     Three or more years experience in recruitment of exempt positions preferably in sales service organization.

v     Experience in development of sales incentive programs.

v     Intermediate knowledge of various software applications (Microsoft Suite of Tools) including Lotus Notes.

v     Demonstrated experience in use of Internet based tools and sites for sourcing of candidates.

v     Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively via verbal and written means.

v     Demonstrated ability to manage and successfully meet multiple deadlines.

v     Professional telephone presentation.

v     Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to service effectively all levels of internal clients.

v     Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision.

v     Strong organizational skills accompanied by flexibility to quickly adapt to any new business environment.

v     Experience in coordinating simultaneous assignments by assessing project deadlines, establishing work priorities, and coordinating personal work schedule.
