Assigned duties and responsibilities of Staff and Representatives. Oversaw staff development and training.
Provided direction and guidance in all Human Resource matters including hiring/interviewing, employee orientations, wage and benefits, training and employee development, performance reviews and employee terminations.
Negotiated labor contracts as well as negotiating daily work conditions of those employees.
Coordinated the efforts of a large group of employees to lobby for the sale of a long-distance network communication platform.
Wrote numerous policies detailing attendance, bonuses and profit sharing programs that resulted in increased efficiencies, productivity and company profits.
Other positions held Representative, Administrator of Labor Contracts, Training Facilitator, and FMLA Applications Liaison and others.
Key member of the team responsible for identifying $35 million in savings over a five year period.
Other positions held included Production Associate at Lucent Technologies (1982-2001) and A-Plus Manufacturing (2001-2003), Labor Coordinator for Political Activities, Public Events Scheduler and Information Distribution Coordinator for the American Federation of Labor & Congress of Industrial Organizations (1998), The Home Depot (2009-Present).
